This has been a short campaign and I congratulate Woody Jenkins and Laurinda Calongne for their selection as the top two finalists in this critical race to fill the vacant 6th Congressional Seat. I wish them both success and know that you, the citizens of the district, will make the right choice to represent the Republican Party for this position. It has been my pleasure to have experienced this time and meeting everyone.

It has been quite a hectic few weeks and one of the shortest campaigns I have ever seen. I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to my family for their dedicated support and to my friends for being there throughout the process.
